Alrinthea Carter is an Emmy-nominated comedy writer (HBO’s “A Black Lady Sketch Show) and improviser currently based in Los Angeles, CA. Alrinthea has studied and performed improv comedy across the country for ten years. She has a particular interest in teaching the art of improv to new improvisers, as well as encouraging veteran players looking to bring more joy and energy to the scenes. Alrinthea has extensive experience as a Comedy Festival Producer, Player Advocate, and theater operations, and served as Executive Producer at Alchemy Comedy Theater in South Carolina.
Well known for her passion for photography, teaching improv classes, The Muppets, and finding the perfect funk rhythm on the drums, Alrinthea is making her mark on the world through public service and bold creativity. When not making up stuff on stage, she is an obsessive plant mom and Kitchen DJ. Her patron saint is and will always be Prince.
